[PROBLEM] cant browse websites but internet is connected

    okay im on somebodys computer and the issue is:
    all progams connected to internet are working, IE & FF also, but once in a while IE & FF cant connect to any website even tho all other programs are contantly connected and working. after few refreshes they do connet and the nkeep workign for some time, till it happends again. computer has internet al lthe time, can ping website, stay connected to ftp or play games online. just browsing of websites temporarly fails.

    anybody has idea what to do with that stuff?

    Man, Its the work of the spyware, I to experienced this, my skype was connected bu i couldn't not browse any website.

    Use spyware S & D and remove the thing. It works fine.

    Stop downloading those free "games" and video players...
    You are getting spyware and adware...

    im not sure if its spyware - actually i doubt it, it might be the winsock error of some kind but i didnt play much wit hthose settings

    Reset winsock
    start->run and type

    netsh winsock reset

    hit enter restart pc and try your connection

    this reset cant fuck up anything? itsn ot my computer and i dont want to spend hours fixing the winsock :)

    might be as simple a fix as replacing your network cable... got an extra one? swap it out... also have your cable company reset the modem and reboot your router... lastly ask your network company if they are having any issues with their DNS servers....

    or try this... open a command prompt and type ipconfig /all <enter> look at your DNS servers and ping their address (2 of them maybe more) ... see what the response is... hopefully its under 15ms

    next time it fails try to surf by IP address see if it comes up then its DNS related...
