Private VS Shared SSL

    What are the advantages/disadvantages of a private VS shared SSL ?

    What should a site owner go with? Does the type of website be the deciding factor of private vs shared SSL ?

    You can get a Private SSL for like $10, maybe even less if you just want it for the "looks" and/or basic encryption. Shared SSL basically means that you will have to share a domain or use someones domain otherwise there will be certificate warnings which IMO sucks.
