Private reputation?

I have always been a person who has stayed away from making themselves known online. This means that in my own social networks I would upload carefuly, and I kept a bit anonymous.

For 5 years I have been buying-selling second-hand products as a hobby. Now I would like to scale it a little more on Ebay. Whenever I sold something, I did not have any private information available to anyone. They contacted me on WhatsApp, and on my own whatsapp I do not have a profile picture.

My reason was that I did not want to be known. But I'm seeing now, it's wrong. I should make myself known so that the buyer / seller catches more confidence in dealing with me.

What should I take into account for this circumstance? Is there any guide / advice to enter the world of negotiations as a Dealer?

I would just start naturally. Put your picture on your profile, add your information to any "About Me" pages, create a LinkedIn profile, add the business to your Facebook page, etc.
