Hey am not sure someone will help or not because i ve given up about this well here's lately i want to do buy my personel Vps and then Buy Number of ips my business wants can someone tell me how i can create an activation link like most of proxy sellers have which is called Ip patching i guess if someone who has already done this can pm me and guide me i will really appreciate it i mean it will really appreciate but so far it seems to be a nations secret anyways.

lol i was also unsure about this term so what i meant was as proxy providers allot you a USERNAME and password and send you a link then only those proxies will work on that machine once you restart your machine you need to sign in back or proxy security i want to do that.

lol ok sorry for not providing you all the details. What i want to do is after i have bought my VPS and purchased Ips i want a script to give access to the people i want by giving them usernames and password,i want to protect my proxies from scanners.

cant protect proxies
anyone with the tools can port scan any proxies
provided he has the ports the tools and the time

use ip authentication
use password authentication

If you can't figure these basics out yourself you should buy a proxy service imho.

Configuration is the biggest expense in a proxy server. It can be easily hacked so unless you know what you are doing, dont even think about it... Make sure you have a level 3 tech monitoring the servers 24/7 ... I would suggest you to buy for a existing provider if you are not familiar with all this. Just save yourself from a lot of legal trouble.

Frankly, if he can't figure out the basics you mention...

He should stick to AOL dial-up.

A newbie getting an unmanaged VPS and a bunch of IPs online is known in DuhThurdWurld as "Payday From Another Fool".
