I recently decided to expand into building a decent sized (or large, depending who you speak to) PBN. Hoping at least 30-50 sites.

How are they working for you? is it worth the large investment? Did you see a drastic change in your rankings based solely on your PBN? (I do other SEO, but need to know if this is what will cause a great ranking increase)

I have sites that I cant get to rank too high due to competitors just basically being better than me. Hoping a Pr3+ PBN will help give me the boost.

Private Blog Networks still work and always will as long as you're using them right.
In most cases,30-50 links from PR3's with decent pa/da can make the difference when you hit the first page
Just make sure you stay under the radar and you minimize the footprints as much as possible

    Cheers

I use my own with a sprinkle of web 2.0 and pdf and it works like a dream. Def worth the investment. Its a bitch to set it all up so time consuming.

What is the best practice for promoting many sites on the same network, you just post content with new url on them all. At what point it become a footprint? How many sites you can promote using 30-50 site PBN.

Don't really think there is a set in stone guide best guide. I aim to pass a manual review. So on page wise i aim for decent content, logo, telephone number, contact form, title, email address and regular content updates not all linking out.

I normally promote max of 20 sites per network then rinse and repeat. Don't just have PBN links either.

Unless you have like 50 numbers, isnt that a huge footprint?

For tier 1 links I'm still using web 2.0s, guest posts and private blog network links.

Private blog networks are the long term plan of the future considering if you build your own strong network not messed up by anyone
else then that is a powerful and under the radar method of continually ranking with Google no matter what updates they churn out.

I have just begun to dabble into PBN's and I'm actually pretty upset that i didn't start sooner. If you are serious about making niche sites or ranking clients then they are a must. And if you make them legit and not just 1 post with 55 links in it, it will remain for a long time.

As for the investment I guess my keyword research is pretty decent because for the past two sites i've only needed 3-5 links to rank in the top 5. (Along with a few blog comments and web 2.0s focusing on diversification and brand.). But each of these soyes are making around $300-$500 a month, so yes these PBN links are worth the investment

PBN having high PR authority sites with less number of OBL, high PA/DA. Will helps to get some SERP improvement for sure.

How do you find cheep hostings and also exclude most used shared hostings like hostG***, cirt3x ...etc ? Or you host all them on blogger and WP (unique IP)?

I just google it get coupons look at the promos here or lowendbox. I dont have a problem with the same hosts other people use as the blend in.

It isn't the cheapest thing to do and its time consuming but worth it.

Do you guys consider domain age important when buying the domains? I have a guy getting some (seemingly)awesome and extremely cheap Pr3-Pr4 with DA35+, but they "reclaimed" (whatever that means) but they are maybe 1 month old. Do you think this matters?

Having an old domain wouldn't hurt. But i cant say its anything i've ever looked at and i rank like a dream so personally wouldn't get to concerned over it.

Hi there, not here to hijack but thought it might be relevant. I am looking to start my own PBN also and i have a good plan on what i am going to do to make it unique and also not leave footprints.

My question is about registering a new domain vs registering a domain that has just been dropped (e.g. http://www.expireddomains.net)? I have read in many posts and articles that google wipes the slate clean and "resets" the value of all existing links and PR etc.

How do you guys buy expired domains and ensure that you keep the authority of the domain you purchase?

I think that is the last thing i need to cover to start my PBN.

    thanks,

    Mike

You want to register domains that haven't dropped yet from the auctions, this way the whois data + age stay consistent, so in the Search Engines eyes, the site is still the same as the one that acquired all of the original links, and therefore should pass value.

i see, so these domains are sold by the initial owner/"domainer" company and they will then transfer the domain before it fails. Please can you advise some good sites to purchase domains from auction?
