Print on Demand is not dead! Journey to 10k a month.

Thanks guys
Good luck buddy and great success ahead

Everyone's now starting a new journey for sure in this time of recession is the best to start to diversify your income

One question I want to ask is that do you run ads to your designs or it's just SEO and free Etsy traffic you're depending on.

This is a good advice and also a good question.

Shop 1 is spending a few dollars a day on ads. Shop 2-5 are only running on SEO and etsy traffic and Shop 6 is highly relying on ads, around 100$ a day at this time. They have a great ROI. I can tell that in the past, I never made money with ads, only with my high margin products I'm able to get an insane ROI.

UPDATE

Long time no updates in this thread, but what happened is crazy. If you want to see the whole potential of etsy, fasten your seatbelts, because this will be getting wild. I found a crazy niche which is basically untapped and had results which I had never imagined. However I will update the thread with a 4 week delay (starting on Nov. 1th), because BHW has some shady people and copycats, but the results are getting crazier week by week.

Here is what I did, while I was absent. I now have 6 etsy shops with different themes or niches.

  1. Random Stuff - this is the shop I started my journey with. Selling nearly everything, shirts, mugs, sweaters, blankets, even desk mats and more. This was for a long time my main shop with the best results.
  2. Mugs.
  3. Candles.
  4. AI Shop - this shop was fully automated with midjourney, which created artworks for different products. I have uploaded about 10.000 products on this shop until I stopped.
  5. This shop is basically empty at the start of this update, only having 4 products, which sell quite regularly.
  6. My crazy new shop.

6 shops sounds a lot, but they are mostly automated and easy to handle, even with some crazy volume around Q4. However if I wanted to upscale even further I would need to hire some VAs or do some JVs.

To make it more fun, I will start with the smallest and come to the biggest one.

Shop 2 - Mugs

14 mugs a week is quite okay, that’s about 2 mugs a day. Every mug nets me about 8-9€ in profit, let's say 8€, so still 110€ a week. Not enough to live in my country, but in some other countries this money could already be enough to get around. I have about 800 listings in this shop

Shop 3 - Candles

This shop was quite easy to make, a VA did it a few months back, but it was quite slow in the beginning. However Candles and Mugs are good Q4 items, because they are cheap gifts.
16 Candles, with about 10€ profit per candle - 160€ a week.

Shop 5 - Empty shop.

Just 4 products, which are selling quite good, at least 2 of them. About 30-40€ profit per sale (the products are way more expensive). So another 210€ a week.

These 3 shops alone would be 500€ a week -> 2000€ a month pre taxes. This is barely enough to live in germany, but luckily there are 3 more shops.

Shop 4 - Automated shop

This one I hoped would bring a lot more in that it does, but uploading 10.000 items with most of them low quality is not as lucrative as you might think. Still 600€ in Revenue, but I can’t even tell how much profit this is. I would estimate about 200€. I worked really hard to automate the whole setup and get everything right. This took me atleast 100 hours

Shop 1 - Old Main Shop

Now it’s getting real good. 3.800€ Revenue in 7 days. 73 Sales and again it’s hard to tell how much of this is profit, because the items are so different and I’m so bad at keeping track of all this stuff. I would say about 30% as a low estimate, so about 1300€ a week in profit.

Now this all together is about 2000€ a week pre taxes and this is enough to live very good in germany.

Ready for the big bucks?

Shop 6 - My new Main Shop

Yes you saw this right. 17.000€ revenue in 1 week. The items I sell are very expensive as you can see in the orders to revenue ratio. I won’t tell you what I have found, which product and which niche, don’t bother asking. Now in this shop I also run a lot of ads, so the total profit is about 7000€ in a single week.

So to sum things up:

Nov. 1-7

Orders: 426
Revenue: 22.658
Profit: about 9.000€

Now let me just tell you that this is only the beginning. In the next update I will tell a bit more of what I’m doing and how an average day looks like.

Etsy is great man legit quit selling accounts because I found a niche on there that has me almost at 7 figs a year.

Don't stop go hard it will pay off :)

All are from Europe. Legit accounts with Legit banks, Gmail addresses and normal Google Chrome.

Inspiring journey.Sure will open shop on Etsy and source designs from Fiverr.

To be honest, at this point I won't bother with designers on fiverr. AI with midjourney and chatgpt is at a point, where you get better results, cheaper and more tailored to your own vision. On fiverr you have to be very careful or pay a lot of money.
