Hi guys,

As a CB + YT affiliate, I believe (it is just my own believe) that a considerable amount of our YT video visitors who are real buyers, after watching our videos or after clicking on our hoplinks go and try to search the product -which means we lose them and we lose the income they can bring!!-, I am wondering is there any effective method to lower this rate? Any trick or anything else?! Apart from the quality of the video itself what you guys do in this regard?

Thanks.

If a customer clicks on your HopLink and comes back to buy the product within 60 days, you will still get credit for the sale even if they click on someone else's hoplink. Unless the customer clears its cookies then you will not.

Tell them you have a special discount link and it will expire in x hours.
I think that's all you can do...

Thanks for your input,
But I guess when people come to my videos and click on my hoplink and then go to google the product -say to see what others tell or think about it- and then the website of a second affiliate comes up, then if the customer clicks on the second hoplink then the last hoplink will count! I think in such situations always the last hoplink is the dominant link and will be count by CB. That's one reason way I created this thread!

Thanks for response,

But do they believe? Should I lie BTW?

Don't lie.

You need to have call to actions in both the video and the description.

Read More on our Site
Find Out about our Special Offers
Blah Blah Blah etc. etc. etc.

Makes sense, and is a better way, but I guess sometimes it can increase the number of dislikes if you know what I mean?
It was great if CB could do something so that only the first hoplink gets value when a visitor clicks on the first hoplink and then go and search once again for more info or something like that and find another affiliate website/video!
