Press Release is fairly new to me. So I went to Fiverr and had a press release news report (if that's the right term) written. I have tried submitting it to 1888 Press Release 3 times with no luck thus far. After being rejected, I will make changes and try again. I have reviewed the publishers guide but can't find anything wrong. I have also tried another site but have gotten no response back yet. I would be grateful for any ideas. I received this by email from 1888 Press Release: We are sorry to inform that your press release titled "XXXXXXX" posted on June 24, 2013, has been declined (not deleted).
Please review our publisher guidelines and make any necessary changes and resubmit. The most common mistakes are adding your press release to the wrong category, the formatting is bad, it looks too much like an advert or it's an article.
    Best regards,
    Editorial Team

Press release follows the format of writing news in newspapers. The only difference is that online press releases are always positive. You don't write any negative information. But don't make it sound like an advertisement.

Do they check your phone #, because I gave a fake number when I registered. I never like giving out my personal number.

Use all guidelines which each of them have, follow the format of content, most of them will give you reason of failure, dont repeat those, success will follow :)
