I want to add more regions to my site. I decided to work with one domain and create subfolders for each country:

    http://www.mysite.com/us for US
    http://www.mysite.com/fr for France
    http://www.mysite.com/de for Germany
    ...

The root-page http://www.mysite.com redirects via 302 to the correct geolocation.

My question now: How can I preserve my link power to the homepage? I mean when I get a link to http://www.mysite.com/ which geolocation will profit from that?

Of course I dont want to lose the link juice!!!!!!!

    Hey dudes, any comments here?

I am sure I am not the only one having a multiregional website. Please advise!

If you already has links to your main root directory then you don't have to do any thing else. But if you want to get ranked better for any country such as US then I will suggest that you build links to the US versions of the site such as xyz.com/us

I see but I fear that the links to the main root directory will not be passed via the 302. What do you think?

If your links are just to the root domain which has several categories. The link juice will get distributed equally. If you would have separate sub-domains then the matter would have changed.

I dont have links for the users to select their location. They are 302 redirected based on geolocation. Not sure if the google bot if only redirected to the US site because the bot has a US IP
