So I've recently developed a liking for SEO. It has never interested me before but after reading some threads here on BHW I've really started developing an interest for SEO(Blackhat/Churn and Burn and all that stuff to be precise.)

I've decided to now invest in some tools to start my seo ventures. I'd like to know what tools should I be investing in to get started. I did bit of research on my own and came up the following list that I think I'll be needing. Correct me if I'm wrong :)

    1) Scrapebox - Bought it already
    2) Gsa set + captcha breaker
3)A content writing/spinning software like KM
    4)A link indexer software
    5) Some private proxies.(Got 'em already)

I can't invest in all of them right away. I've got a $100-$150 budget monthly. I'm planning to buy gsa ser next . I'll use some random captcha service like DBC and write content on my own until I have enough money to buy CB and KM. Do I really need an indexer tool/service ? Can't links be indexed using scrapebox ?

So with all that being said I'd like to know your thoughts about my plan ? Am I headed in the right direction?

Do not buy indexing software. They are junk! Better go with any indexing service. SB indexing dont have layers just normal ping. Also buy long tail pro for kw search.

Buy a handful of sites that you can practice on as well. That will give you a hands on idea of what actually works and what is not effective.

I think the most complete tool is Seo Power Suite, you should include it in your list

Do you mean sites that are monetized which just need traffic ? Can't I just build them on my own ?

    I'll check it out :)

Sure, you can build them but I like to have a mixture of new and old sites to test on to see the results from the various methods I employ.

Start doing it manually and then automate it.

Thanks Greg.I don't have money to invest in sites as of now but I'll definitely try this in the future

Hey. I'll be building Tier 1's manually. Also, I feel I'll be doing more or churn-burn I'll get burnt if I go about building them manually. Or am I missing something here ?

Have you done these steps manually? If yes then you should try looking for tools to automate the process.

    1. Keyword Research (competition analysis, spying on competitor backlinks, etc..)
    2. Manual Backlinking (web2.0, article marketing, wiki, tier linkbuilding, rss, etc..)

And the most important factor is On-site SEO.

I've never done any kind of seo before. This is the first time I'll be doing it.

Now that two of you have suggested this I'll definitely try to rank a site manually. Do you know of any guides or blogs where I can learn this art form of manually ranking a site.?

Ofcourse I'll be doing my due diligence :)

I probably have a few that you can have to get the ball rolling that are laying around. PM me your email address and I'll do what we need to do to put at least some domains, if not sites, in your hands so you can test things on them.
