Before you take a look at this site, some background information:

Yes, this is a serious website
No, it is not a joke
The business owner appeared on Dragons' Den UK looking for investment - she didn't get it for some reason
She describes herself as a marketing genius - you can be the judge
Her offline marketing campaign used the phrase 'putting a rocket into the UK car leasing industry'

Now remember the challenge? Don't laugh.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you...

http://www.lingscars.com

So the next time you are struggling to find clients who need web design services, just remember - they are out there.

Oh God why? Please, someone submit this to Web Pages That Suck right now!

That was dazzling indeed. I am not familiar with Japanese or other exotic web design practices, but that was truly psychedelic. Thanks for bringing back my epilepsy.

probably one of the best websites I've ever seen :-)

One sign of sensibility though - the track stops at the end of the first loop.

Jesus Christ, I can't even look at that abomination for more than a minute.

That`s some serious FAQ

Wait a minute, it says Version 237.1 under the header graphic - WTF!?

This is from about 5 years ago I think. She even promotes her website as being the worst in the world and there are references to Duncan Bannatyne all over it. That said, I have leased two cars from her site now.

OMG ! Now I've got the worst EARWORM stuck in my head. I'm buggered now ! HA HA This has just made my day

I'm about to laugh but this is a 3 year old joke

Shit, so it is!

Sorry guys, I didn't even think to check - I was so busy laughing at the site it didn't cross my mind.

Considering I use site:blackhatworld.com daily, that was a bit dumb of me :(

That design is on purpose. Its not like she can't afford a new design or doesn't know her website needs one. But that design makes her website stand out, and a lot of free PR outreach ;)
So its not that bad business wise.

I had seen that site long time back, and I remember I had a few nightmares! During those nightmares, I would see dazzling cars moving all across my roof and enter my room and begin making crazy squares and rounds on the ceiling of the room, after I closed the room lights. I would be standing in the middle of them, and not knowing how to get out of that damn place. Then some advertisements with dazzling words would hit me at lightning speeds, and they would enter my body and my whole body would begin to dazzle!

I would scream and scream, but the cunning lady in that website / owner of that site would only laugh in the wickedest manner one can ever experience; and when she opened her mouth to laugh, there would be dazzling lights and advertisements and boxes of colored texts come out of her throat or from her womb, and then it would spread crazily across my room like dazzling UFOs. Of course the room would be filled with some of the craziest music(??) one would ever hear in this universe... I would go crazy with it, unable to shut it going into my ears. My eyes would begin rolling spasmodically, and so would my head roll in all directions, luckily still being attached to the rest of my body, which I could never move one inch, incidentally, due to all this. From one of those UFOs, some aliens would jump out and their clothes, if they were wearing any, would dazzle everyone else including its fellow aliens. Then they would stand facing that f'cing website and p!ss all over it in brilliant dazzling streams of comet-like smokes.... eeek... I feel the same dream would be hitting me for a week or so now -- because of this thread! Must find some tranquilizers or sedatives and swallow a couple of dozen of them before retiring tonight...

:)

P.S.:

I am sure that site must have been specially designed and then gifted to this dumb lady by her ex, after they parted... luckily for that guy, and as a token(!) of silent revenge for her treating her badly during all the time they were pitifully co-joined... err, were living together in their hellish marriage. :D

Anyway, it's a real dream website -- err, nightmare website is the actual word for it.

They should do a comparison study between Asians and well, let's say Caucasians in how they respond to or perceive loud colors and ornate graphics. In general, my reaction to all Asian web design (personal pages, blogs, etc...) is just "Ugh". It always seems WAY overdone to me. This example is only somewhat more over the top than what I would consider "normal".

I just wonder if it's cultural, or possibly even genetic. Maybe they see colors differently, IDK. Just seems weird to me that something that sends me into sensory overload appears "normal" to others.

Someone should be reported for being racist... how can I put a very-angry smiley here, guys?
