Pr storm ???

I'm fairly new to everything, been reading here to learn as much as I can.

I have PR Storm, after reading on how to use, I need some advice if what i'm doing is the right way.

Harvest keywords for my niche
currently I have 500 urls

my setting are all 25 using three urls the total time is three hours to get 100%

Am I doing this correct?

PR storm really couldnt be a whole lot easier to use to be honest. You load in your list of URLs and then tell it how many times to hit each site then click run. If you have a slow connection and have set like 100 hits to each site then I would expect this to take a few hours to hit up all 500.

However if you have a 2Mb+ connection and set the number of site hits to 10 or less I would expect it to be done in a few minutes.

Yes Jack I have read those threads like I stated, thanks Jim sounds like i'm on the right track, would you recommend hitting the same urls or harvest complete new once every time?

I've got a copy of PR Storm also. Never quite worked as advertised, plus there are other concerns. Google it and you'll see what I mean.

i agree with jimbobo. If you search for the prstorm + extra pack, it comes with 10,000 urls. yum!

I really had a bad experience with PR Storm. It really ate lot of my time in collecting urls....

yeah i havent really seen much use out of it, i downloaded that huge URL pack from the other prstorm thread, 275k URL's, and ran prstorm through proxies, i have done about 100k URL's and have only gotten 3 backlinks from referrer pages

how did you check your backlinks, jakai? with

or just

did you try the yahoo website tool?

I used this once and I didn't see any results from it, I see other people coming out with similar software now
