I am thinking about purchasing a domain and using it to make a big review site where I review different CB products...

While shopping, I have noticed that PR6 domains and 6 Year Old domains both sell for about the same price...

Which one should I care more about?

Also if you can reccomend any good sites for me to shop at that would be awesome....recently I have just been looking at http://www.yourmaindomain.com/ but I'd be willing to bet that BHW knows of a better place :pirate14:

    Thanks for the help!

Would go for the PR ones as it indicates that it should have some aged backlinks too.

Aged domain has no use unless it has an aged website

I was thinking that too....except some BHW members have told me PR is useless unless u r selling links (which I wont be doing since its an affiliate site).

Not sure I quite understand this statement?

A domain of let's say 10 years old without ever having a website has no added value at all.
As it seems ( i say this carefully as i do not have enough data ), a domain which has age and had a website in the past does give added value in ranking etc.

Oh okay, thank you! What about sites with PR though that (seemingly) have no content and never did. The website just says "This Domain May Be For Sale By The Owner" or something like that.

If I buy one of those and fill it with content will it rank well?
