I have 3 client websites that I started linkbuilding for with the SAME backlink strategy all within the the same time period..

    Below are the results.

    Site 1 : PR 1 >> PR 1
Conclusion: this site has had the highest increase in traffic and serps over the last few months despite not increasing in PR at all.

    Site 2 : PR 3 to PR 2
Conclusion: this was a penguin penalized site and came out of page 200 to now page 6 for its money keywords

    Site 3 : PR 0 to PR 2
Conclusion:this was a brand new domain registered in August and has only 1 page and minimal content put on it. It also has 2x less links then site 1 and 2 yet it received the highest PR increase. HOWEVER, it is only on page 3/4 for all its keywords and receives minimal traffic.

FINAL CONCLUSION : PR MEANS NOTHING, REFER TO YOUR TRAFFIC AND SERP RANKINGS TO JUDGE YOUR SEO EFFECTIVENESS

I sometimes don't even bother looking at my rankings. I just see how many visitors get to my affiliate site. That's the only thing I worry about. I see I get some visitors from a blog post that ranks nowhere in Google, I wonder where on earth they're coming from? I don't really care though because they are coming!!

Dude, you're a fucking genius! You managed to crack G's algo just by studying three sites! I bet you can predict the future too. Can you?

PR is actually helpful when you're trying to get sites to link to you. Not many reputable websites jump for joy when asked to link to PR0 domains. Same thing goes with selling a site.

If you think a site is ranking 1-10 just from PR alone, you are ignorant. Its not 1998 anymore and PR by itself doesn't mean didilly squat when it comes to ranking sites. Sure, most sites ranking in the first 10 will usually have a higher PR, but that doesn't mean they are only ranking for that term because of their PR.

PR has nothing to do with SERPs anyway. This is like saying you built a new windmill, but your car is still as slow as it was. The two systems are completely unrelated.
