PPV Strategy

I have a website which gets about 5k uniques a day.

I am looking to add a content locker on the main use of the website, where the user is required to watch one video to unlock the content (there will be several pieces of content, they will have to watch a video for each).

Just curious to as where anybody has experience with PPV and can give me some profit estimations/insight into their own experience. I'm struggling to find anything online. Thanks

Pretty good strategy video ads work well.

Video Ads don't always work that well, especially if the video completion rate isn't high. In some experiments, I found the pages per visit jumped when video ads were removed from some sites as well. It all depends on the type of site though. If it's a content site, going display CPM ads, could be more profitable.

OP: How many pages does your site have? How many page visits do your get per visit? If it's a decent number, a content locker will hurt your site. Could be more profitable to add 5 - 6 CPM display ads per page, so you get paid per each ad impression.
