Hey there, I've signed up literally hours ago and thought a thread like this would be great to share my experiences, and keep track of my progress.
I'm 15, and would like a little bit of money for buying the odd thing here and there, so started looking for another way to generate income.
I've watched this type of stuff from afar before, and made of $350 in download revenue through adfly with custom map content for Minecraft over the last 2-3 years.
But I wanted to try something that could make more money. I'm familiar with most common pyramid schemes and survey/incentive related things, so though PPD survey sites would be a good place to start.

This is quite a lengthy post, but I tried to keep it as entertaining as possible :)

    Progress Diary:

    Day 1: Finding the Niche
I identified my market by searching through facebook, and finding that "free" codes for Skins/RP for the hyper popular game League of Legends are very sought after by pre-teens to young adults in countries all over the world. I quickly came to realise that my target market would be "gullible" kids, around the age of 12-15. I'd found 2 ways (after a couple hours of research) that I could generate traffic.
    1) Create a website, buy a domain, and then create fake downloads on the site that would require surveys for completion. Then spam this on forums/statistic sites/Facebook/YouTube/etc. This required web hosting, a domain name, and contact with a CPA network. A real annoyance, not to mention the investment.
    2) Create a Facebook page, and provide the downloads on there through a PPD site. I chose Sharecash, as it does the job. This option requires no investment, and through some light spamming, and abuse of the share system, I could easily get my page some free traffic.
As I had no money, I went with the second option. I researched other pages that were also doing this, and decided to follow this post model:
    - Provide downloads of "free" codes that follow as such:
My Facebook page -> adfly -> Sharecash Download -> Passworded File -> adfly again -> Sharecash Download -> Password to open the first file -> Used code
    - Create fake competitions to boost page publicity. The competitions require users to Like & Share the post, and then comment on it saying what they would spend the ingame currency on. This gets the post viewed by the user's friends, thus getting me more traffic and likes.
    - Post the occasional funny picture, to keep the viewer base interested in the page.
After this, I started to create the fake password files.

Day 2: Getting the page more popular
To start on day 2, I had a page with no more than 5 likes, and not a single download on my first fake code. I took a copy+pasted message telling people I was providing codes, and then spammed it on 15 different LoL related pages, taking about 3 minutes. I then went for some lunch, and came back to 25 likes on the page and my first download ($1.6).
After this, I started my first fake competition. Having had a few entries within a few hours, I created a fake Facebook account, and locked down the privacy settings so viewers couldn't see the profile. I then changed the picture to one of the playable characters from the game the page was related to, and entered this fake profile in to the giveaway I had created on the page. This fake profile later became the winner.

    Day 5: Rinse and repeat
For the next few days I repeated this same process, getting likes, getting shares, getting downloads. On Day 5 I created another method to get traffic.
This time I placed a code download file in the post, and also attatched text telling people to vote on what they would want in the next code download. This got the code download itself some publicity, not just the competition posts. This seemed to work nicely, however I was still getting a miniscule amount of downloads, due to the early stages of the scheme.
You will encounter some weirdos in this sort of method, I have one kid called Marko who comments and likes EVERYTHING. He even inboxes the page, and posts his own comments on the page asking me for things. Every post I put up he appears and drops me his famous "can I hav 1 code only plz". And I mean every time. I would ban him like I banned many others, but all he does is generate me more views on the page.

    Day 7: 100 likes
As of creating this post this is where I'm up to. I've probably put a total of 3 hours into this, including creating all the files, the page, uploading, replying to comments, spamming, and everything else.
I've generated $14.33 in download revenue so far, and have 100 likes on the page. As far as it's going, I'm quite happy. For minimal effort I was able to achieve this, and if I can keep this scheme up, and keep the audience I've gathered by lying about real codes and competitions, I should be able to reach about 5,000 likes, as some of the other pages have. At 5,000 likes I can easily generate revenue by sticking a download up and watching the hits roll in. It's just a case of scaling up the operation and seeing what happens.

    Notes on this method:
I know I've given out my entire method here, and if you would like to do it, please have the decency to do this for a different game. Most F2P games have codes for Ingame currency now, so you could do this for any of those games and still have a large audience. Taking away my traffic wouldn't be too nice would it? :)
This "scheme" is aimed at kids, and they are very suggestible. A single person posting on one of your downloads about them being fake, or a scam, could ruin your profits completely. Anybody who wises up to your scam should instantly be banned from the page, and all their comments deleted. Losing a single potential download is much better than losing 100s.
This could easily be done through a website too, but I chose this method as there was zero risk for me to lose money, due to the non-existent investment costs.

    Thanks for reading!
Thanks a lot for taking the time to read! If you have any other suggestions for me on improving this, or would like to donate a little bit for the info I've shared, it would be appreciated :)
If anyone has a free way for me to generate more traffic to my page, it would be enourmously appreciated, and could help out a lot! I would do my best to return the favour if there's anything I can do for you.

    Laters y'all,
    Haders.

    Hi,

I wouldn't bother with ad.fly because its pretty annoying. Some people aren't that desperate for it might get annoyed with you. I suggest you use bit.ly no advertisement which can improve conversion rate.

As Rave12 said, I should stay away from *******..
People really hate it and that little bit of extra money you get from it is not worth it I think.

Other than that, great idea and great journey!

    Will Be following this.

    Succes!
