    Hello guys,

its time for another journey (which won't get abandoned).

First let me introduce my self...I own couple of adsense/amazon monetized niche sites which bring in some bacon. I've been working in the industry since 05 (on and off) and have gathered a decent knowledge about multiple aspects of the business.

I've never tried PPC, I guess I've always been to scared to shovel money down the drain without a guaranteed return. After lots of reading I've decided to try and make it work. He who dares - wins, after all! :)
Bing ads seem like a good place to start since the competition isn't that fierce as on Google Adwords and clicks are cheaper.

    To-do list:
    1. Register a domain for landing page - it will be generic, brandable domain which can accommodate different niches
    2. Pick a CB product to promote - medium gravity, high payout, good sales page, targeted to mid-older aged demographics (found some info that bing users are predominantly older)
    3. Create landing page, install prosper202 on the server
    4. Do my KW research, probably limit myself to around 50 keywords in the beginning
    5. Purchase some Bing Ads accounts or coupons ($100 coupon sell for $5 on seoclerks)
    6. Create my campaigns
    7. Keep checking my campaign results and tweak as I go...
    8. Discard unsuccessful ones and keep pushing those which bring in the bacon
    9. Hopefully achieve lucrative autopilot campaigns and then move on to other products and Google Adwords

I hope that I will be able to achieve these steps within 2 months (I do have a daily job).
I will try to update this thread 3-4 times a week, with detailed walkthrough and reasoning behind my actions. I would be grateful if you could point and help me correct some mistakes, which I will inevitably do. ;)

If you have any questions, please post in the thread so that we could all learn something.

Regarding Proper202. Would you recommend this for affiliate marketing irregardless of the traffic source? I.e. Youtube and SEO.

It looks nice to have all the data gathered, vs. in 25 different affiliate panels.

Frankly speaking, I haven't used Prosper202 yet. I've read that it is a necessity for PPC campaigns and it sure can't hurt if you use it to analyse data for traffic gathered from other sources.

Nothing Special. I select a Good Product & Make a trusty Review Video. I also Write a unique 400-500 word description with 3.5% KW Density.
Put related keyword in tag as much as possible. Get Some G+ Share, comment & likes.

    Day 1 update

A bit overdue update that is :) I've been busy with my 9-5 job and finally got some time to focus on my little journey. Apart from doing much reading about methods and best practices, I've also done some real work. :)

I bought a .com domain, somewhat brandable if things kick off. I've chosen "problem solver" type of a domain which can easily be used to fit every niche. Lets say my domain is problemsolver.com, I intend to promote various products, each with its own LP (productsolver.com/burn-fat-quickly, productsolver.com/life-acne-free-life and so on...)

After pointing it to my hosting, I've installed wordpress with the following plugins:
    - Disable Comments (my theme won't be using comments but this can't hurt)
    - Google Analytics Dashboard for WP
    - Login LockDown
    - W3 Total Cache
    - Wordpress SEO by Yoast
    - WP Database Backup

Regarding the theme, I am still thinking what would be the best solution. I am considering paying $49 for LeadRocket or using some free theme which can generate multiple LPs for different products and split testing. I would appreciate if anyone has any recommendations.

Afterwards I have installed Prosper202 tracking on a subdomain and played around with settings. Seems like fairly user friendly piece of software but since I don't have a theme yet, I couldn't integrate it with my site.

Also, I've signed up for a brand new Mailchimp account which will help me gather leads and create niche specific targeted mailing lists. Upsells here I come! :)

Thats it for now, I'm off to CB to try and narrow my product shortlist. Site design heavily depends on chosen product, this isn't the part where I should make an error.

    Total spent : $1.17 (domain)
    Total earned: yeah, right :)

Will you start with only one CB product or you will choose few products before your site goes live...?

The process is dyeing..! The main reason behind this is for the BING account. For last couple of weeks, accounts are getting banned like crazy as hell and there is no proper reason for those.! Even the support won't say you the reason. Now-a-days, account creation is another nightmare.! You can create account but won't get any clicks or impressions in campaigns there and with added bonus, you might get banned in less than one hour..! And for this reason, accounts are low in market as well and hence you are out of luck getting some ready made accounts to purchase.

So, if you don't have accounts, you can't keep your accounts live, than no use of any other thing on BING here. So, need to get a way out of this. No hard feelings but I wrote this from my personal experience and from many other friends experience as well.

I plan to start with one product, tweak it as much as I can and then move on. If I start with several products, I would be bidding for too many keywords and wouldn't get enough clicks on any of them to draw a conclusion which one works.

Whoa, bad news indeed...thanks for the heads up, I'm gonna look into this. If I can't get a constant supply of coupons/accounts, I might dip straight into Adwords although my budget is a bit weak for it.

The process is dying if you only use coupons with accounts, but there is one trick, add your own $10 when applying coupon so that everything looks legit...
