Hello guys,
its time for another journey (which won't get abandoned).
First let me introduce my self...I own couple of adsense/amazon monetized niche sites which bring in some bacon. I've been working in the industry since 05 (on and off) and have gathered a decent knowledge about multiple aspects of the business.
I've never tried PPC, I guess I've always been to scared to shovel money down the drain without a guaranteed return. After lots of reading I've decided to try and make it work. He who dares - wins, after all!
Bing ads seem like a good place to start since the competition isn't that fierce as on Google Adwords and clicks are cheaper.
To-do list:
1. Register a domain for landing page - it will be generic, brandable domain which can accommodate different niches
2. Pick a CB product to promote - medium gravity, high payout, good sales page, targeted to mid-older aged demographics (found some info that bing users are predominantly older)
3. Create landing page, install prosper202 on the server
4. Do my KW research, probably limit myself to around 50 keywords in the beginning
5. Purchase some Bing Ads accounts or coupons ($100 coupon sell for $5 on seoclerks)
6. Create my campaigns
7. Keep checking my campaign results and tweak as I go...
8. Discard unsuccessful ones and keep pushing those which bring in the bacon
9. Hopefully achieve lucrative autopilot campaigns and then move on to other products and Google Adwords
I hope that I will be able to achieve these steps within 2 months (I do have a daily job).
I will try to update this thread 3-4 times a week, with detailed walkthrough and reasoning behind my actions. I would be grateful if you could point and help me correct some mistakes, which I will inevitably do.
If you have any questions, please post in the thread so that we could all learn something.
