Potentially buying an "automated" Shopify store - help

The overall trend of easy money/get rich quick schemes seems to be insanely popular.

I think people noawadays, especially millenials or young guys gravitate towards an easy model of generating money. I think this has to do with the overall social paradigm that the internet has created.

A culture of instant gratification = instant wealth. In reality, making money online is as hard (if not harder in my honest opinion) than creating a traditional business. The reason for this is because you are competing on a global scale and thus are exposed to a greater amount of competition.

My friend, things take time. You can't run before you learn how to walk. No things in life comes easy. Always remember that.

I can't blame you however, for I have too looked or felt enchanted by some gurus that promise great wealth at the expense of a certain price, one time only payment.

If you are smart, you will listen to us and not fall into these traps. If not, life will teach you the hard way that there's no such thing as easy money.

You reap what you sow.

Hi,

I found someone on IG who had extensive background with building out Shopify stores including his own brand (I'm not going to reveal his info as he is active on BHW). He offers potential clients to build out a completely automated Shopify store with a 5-7x ROAS from day one and in his package, he includes the actual design, branding, setup, FB ad's management, & more.

He told me that the cost would be $5K + 20% of the monthly net revenue from the store each month. I was also told that the niches which would be selected are based on current popularity/hype and most (not all) of the stores he's built are one-product niche stores.

Personally, if someone is offering a high ROAS, especially from day one, that is alarming. He told me that the reason he can guarantee a high ROAS is because it's his creditability and store (vs. building it for a client).

The offer is interesting and I'm potentially considering it but I wanted a community opinion as I'm sure most of you might have heard of similar things in the past. Is this something to push away? If anyone has alternative, proven agencies that offer this it would be great if you could give a referral!

The obvious worry on my end is he takes the $ and vanishes into thin air. He did mention that there would be a 2 week refund policy in that if I do not recoup my initial investment, I would get a full refund.

I would really appreciate some feedback/advice on how to proceed with this.

Just think, if you could make a store everytime that guarantees 5-7x ROAS, would you be selling those stores or just running your own.

Op,u know what 20% revenue means? revenue not profit. as its ecom store,it usually means the whole profit u get.
