My brothers a top engineer for At&t and would say that's a bad working environment.

Mainly due to that tiny, shitty, stunted, genetically modified keyboard. :)

But seriously. I notice a huge difference everytime I go from my old, wide, deep key'd dell keyboard to my acer with its thin tiny keys. The older, oversized keyboards are so much easier to type on. That's why I do very little work on my laptop cause I hate small keys.

I've posted my computer setup before on this forum, but here it is again (my setup looks a bit different now, but it's pretty similar to the old picture).

I also cannot type well on keyboards with thin keys. When I switched my keyboard from my old one with larger keys to my new one with thinner keys, I noticed that I was making a mistake in every sentence as opposed to the old keyword where I almost never hit the wrong key. Even now, I still have a bit of trouble typing on the new keyboard (I don't want to switch them again).

Back in my competitive video gaming days I had a nice setup, but now I use a shitty laptop and just get work done when I can. Don't even use my desktop. This thread makes me feel misplaced heh

Most desktop setups (including mine) are gratuitous. If all you need is a laptop to get your work done, I say that's great. :)

Works just fine. If you really need a windows environment just use a vps :)

Yeah surely it is easier to type on a nice big razor mechanical keyboard and my desktop is much faster, but to be honest i can do all the same things on the laptop at 80% efficiency.
