I'd also like to know where you found this? Looks interesting. According to the diagram, Social Bookmarking & Authority sites retains the same value. Guest Blogging and Content sharing got more importance whereas Article Submission, Press Release, Link Farm and Directory Submission lost some value.

Even I have experienced less juice from Article Sites after Panda Update.

Can we get a link to the source? Without context this radar chart is somewhat useless and just adds to the noise and FUD around Panda which is the way Google maintains the status quo.

Thanks for the link, missed it while adding my reply!

This diagram makes sense to me especially the part with the article directories. A lot of people used these directories to post spun crappy content. Since the panda update is all (or at least mainly) about unique content those sites got devaluated.

i dont think that article submission lost that much. that would equal that the newspapers and online directorys are now broke, or broke within 24 hrs. this just dont make sense.

When does Content Distribution become Article Distribution or Press Release Distribution?

In other words this is a site specific assessment, rather than by kind of material distributed, so we're back to good ol' authority sites i.e. no change whatsoever.

My UAW plugin sites have never done better so what Panda actually did I have no idea.

You know I took a quick glance at the analysis particularly the winners and losers from this link:

    hxxp://www.seomoz.org/blog/googles-farmer-update-analysis-of-winners-vs-losers

So basically Google screwed the little guys owning the article directories and rewarded the name brands that spend money on AdWords with traffic. [email protected]#$ Google!

And that bullshit article about building content and they will come is such bullshit! I really want to stick it to those arrogant bastards with their proprietary algorithm! Does anybody feel the same way about Google?

Would be great if the image isn't hosted on imageshack... it's a hijack, not everyone got an account on that image host.

LOL. It's crap. Besides the authority sites and guest blogging which have always and will always be very effective, saying link farms suck it just silly. Yes, open link farms suck because they can be tracked, but if you build your own you rule.

The thing is post panda Google stopped giving so much credit to easily spamable link sources. I know sites who ranked top 10 with hundreds of thousends of links from chinese sites and so on (ranking on google.com).

Bottom line is, if you understand how a search engineer / anti-spam engineer thinks and what can be computed, you can figure out a way to outsmart them. Google always tries to beat the most used spam techniques. That's why thinking out of the box and doing things differently than anybody else will always result in success.
