My account and my followers can see my post in top posts but when I check with an account not following my account the picture appears only in recent posts not top posts. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I found an article a few days ago. If it is true it explains why everyone thinks they are getting "shadow banned" and their post not showing up in hashtag searches like before.

According to a "Facebook/Instagram" rep the hashtag search function now operates on an algorithm not just chronological order.

“After running it by my advanced team one more time, it was reiterated that this is certainly intended functionality.
To see posts connected to a hashtag, unless it is a top post or high-volume post, the user must Follow that Page to see the Posts.

It isn’t just Business Pages, however, it is primarily.
There are individual personal pages that are in the same category.”

Yeah, chronological order is gone - if that's what your question was. There are other factor$$$ in play now.

Goes back to when Facebook got rid of chronical order and only show sponsored post or highly engaged posts.

Just another aspect of Facebook changing Instagram. Pretty soon I'm sure we will be seeing more "boosted" posts across Instagram compared to "ads"

Definitely a bunch of weird algorithm stuff going on behind the scenes. I had a recent post get more likes than ever before, but it wasn't showing up in my favorite Hashtag (even though it beat all the other posts by 2x the likes + comments and time-recency)

Happens to me all the time, my main account is 1.5 million. Dunno why, but it's extremely common.
