So here's my problem, I'm using Yoast SEO Plugin and it looks like it's creating some trouble with my posts' titles.

Let's say my site name is: Black Hat World
And I make a post called: Best SEO Tools

My posts are being indexed as: Best SEO ToolsBlack Hat World

Yes, that wasn't a typo, that's how my post name is showing up in google and in the tabs of my browser.

Now my Yoast Post settings are as follow:
    %%title%% %%page%% %%sitename%%

I changed it to: %%title%% but that didn't change anything.

    ANy help ?

    Do you cleaned cache?
It may be a bug with that plugin, try to find answer on their support forum.

I think there is a bug in new updated version of yoast. my two previously installed plugins are also not working properly after updating yoast.

Try putting your title settings like this:

    %%title%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%

I think your problem was that you were just missing the %%sep%% (Separator)

on the Titles & Meta General Settings. try checkmarking Force rewrite titles. It worked for me on a local install of wordpress.

no permalinks sets the format of your url mywebsite.com/postname. Yoast is setting how the title of the page appears in the header and in the very top of your browser

I did this but now only the post's title is showing up, so for example: Best SEO Tools

I wanted both the title and the site's name so: Best SEO Tools - Black Hat World.

    A32335,

Not sure if you tried this already but do you have an original copy of the plugin in your downloads folder on your local machine? If so, you could uninstall the plugin currently on the server and re-install the old download. That would, in effect, be the next best thing to rolling back the update.

    Hope that helps,

    Shawn

I made this site about 4 days ago, so I'm sure this is the new version of yoast.

    None of those changed anything.

The only thing that worked so far is enabling "force re-write titles", which shows the post name only.
