Post Count What the Heck????

Hi,

I have pm'd support for answers soooo since none have come back (it has been almost 2 weeks now) I wanted to know why my post count does not always change/update when I make a new post?

I have not been credited for aobut 5-6 posts that I have noticed.

I have never seen the post count not reflect the new posts on any forum that I am a member. Example, b/4 I posted this I had 43 posts after this post, I still have 43 posts. It is taking about 5 posts for my post count to change..

Can someone please fix this problem and explain why this has been happening?

You don't get credited for posting in certain sections, not exactly sure but member downloads is 1 but there are others. Why you itching to get your post count up anyway, eh?

*EDIT* Looking through your posts you should really only have about two, the rest are all, thanks man! thanks guys, thanks gang, great share, nice, thanks, halp pls etc.

Out of curiosity why does it matter?

Anyways, it is my understanding that there are number of areas on the form that
don't count towards post count (Downloads, Lounge etc)

He is probably trying to get into the cs section.

post here in lounge doesn't count as well

Thanks for clearing this up for me. I have never seen the post count not change. I am still fairly new here and still learning the ropes.

Well, I keep seing people talking about the VIP area but haven't really figured that one out either.

Actually to satisfy curiosity. I don't have a real reason that I am trying to get the count up just wanted to know if there was some reason why it was not changing.

You guys are great to answer and help me out on this.
