Post Count not incrementing?

Past couple of days that I have been browsing around I notice that my post count has not changed at all, despite making a couple of posts.

I know that there are other section of the forum that are "unlocked" after so many posts, and I am by no way spamming to unlock these hidden areas but I am not sure what is going on with my account.

after checking my profile I notice I have 79 posts, yet I only show a post count of 49...

Thoughts?

Posts in certain sub-forums do not count (e.g. the lounge).

Some sections of the forum do not further your post count by making a post in them. Also, if you made a bunch of posts in a thread which was deleted by a mod, then all the posts you have made there will also be deleted thus dropping your post count appropriately.

Yea I haven't posted much in the lounge. Good point though. I guess I can chalk it up to that? not really sure what else it could be

Ye its could be that, and also the download req section has not count towards your post numbers
