Come on... as we say in Spain (and the whole world), "Every law has a loophole".

If you ever thought MNS had long term earning potential, you deserve to be blind sided. Also, this has been posted many, many times already

Social media will get you money in future and organic traffic will drop dramatically imho.

It's time to learn how social media like youtube and twitter works and go to those places.

Not sure how you've arrived at that conclusion. Semantic web means nothing, except it will be become de rigeur to add microformat data to the page.

Yep, long over.. Move along. Nothing left now.

"The Wall Street Journal reported today on some changes coming to Google search, but the article seems a bit confused about what they are. "

This is definitely conclusive evidence everything is over.

If we can rank the sites by giving a better experience to the people, I believe is a fair change. But until the time comes, we have to be prepared for anything.

This would be awesome if it triggered a viral anti-Google sentiment throughout the internet.

Bing loads pretty fast these days people, give it another shot! Heh.

um it is actually a good thing it just becomes harder and harder
you will just have to do more relevant links and so forth
micro niche might be gone but you could compete and build up one big site

good video. interesting to see their logic, what their concerns are, and how they go about

don't see much how this specifically affects anything but 10 word+ micro niches based on misspellings?

long term I personally don't see anything really new - people will build websites to get the rankings, google will change its algo to prevent that from happening, people will build websites based on the new algo, google will change the algo again to prevent it from happening....

they sink microniche sites then my autoblogs will just get a bump :)

Lol come on guys stop these threads. Google search can't change, people are used to it. What's going to happen is what has always been happening: Google will try to return more relevant results to its users.

There will always be 10 top results in the SERPS. What you must do is to make sure that you're the best. Stop auto blogging, stop micro sites and make something that you can share on Facebook and be proud of.

What is all this talk about MNS dieing? Everything about SEO is based on content and knowing what your doing! The MNS will not die you will just have to tweak some things. I've heard all of this before and all my MNS have made it even with the big threats that there going to die! Get real people and stop posting this crap!!! We have all seen this junk talk before!

Yeah, but do you really think that micro sites will last forever? I mean, think about it. Why would Google rank an unknown site with 10 pages above an authority trusted website? It just makes no sense. You might be getting away for now because of lots of inbound links, but as we all know those times are changing.

Even though we are in BHW and most people are in it for the quick $, I advice everyone to look long term. Sure, you can make a few bucks with an autoblog or whatever, but I'm pretty sure those will die sooner rather than later.
