Anyone here run a web design company?

I have done paid work for web design before but I dont do it any more because the amount of money I got vs time spent was not worth it.

    I had 2 major problems.
    1) I found myself spending hours on the phone listening to clients' needs. fair enough, they want to make sure I understand their demands, but it's just not worth it considering how much they were paying me.
    2) I didn't really know what I was doing. I can change the background color in css. I can put up a wordpress theme. I can make the font size bigger. but I cant do anything major.

so I just gave that up. But there are still a lot of people that need websites. So my question is: is it possible to completely outsource web design? I want to be just a middle man. I want to send someone (in India? Bulgaria?) the job, wait a few days, and deliver the final work to the client. my job description is simple: I am just a middle man who sends emails back and forth. I have nothing to do with coding.

    Is that possible?

Course this can be done. Maybe make a thread in Hire a Freelancer or WTB (Want to Buy) section. You'll find lots of offers.

Note to others: Don't post offering your services here, It's not the place to offer services/sell. You've been warned.

This can be done but I would suggest middle manning something else.

With web design like you said you have to talk to people for hours and make sure everything is the way they want it, then you have to tell the supplier and if the client changes something you again have to tell the supplier and its just to much in my eyes.

Im currently reselling gigs from fiverr and other places and with only 150-200 UV a day I made $350 in about 10 days with almost no work besides making the free weebly.

    Hope i helped, Good luck

ya, that's something i considered, it takes a lot of time and it's also frustrating to go back and forth between the client and your supplier. It just doesn't seem like it's worth it. but there has to be a way to minimize hours spent with clients and maximize money made.
