    Hello,

Im wondering if its possible to host a site that is registered with an offshore-registrar to host at different hosting-providers.
For example its no problem to have a domain registered at one company and hosted the files at another company. Is it then possible to split the risk by hosting the domain at different hosters? So that all hosters deliver the same files but when one of these hosters is shutting down the site because of spamcomplaints the site is still online because there are 2 or more remaining hosting providers?

    Thanks!
    Sebastian

I think you need to look-up for Load Balancer kind of thing.

Set up offshore hosting that is sure of not banning you. Then buy hosting somwhere else, like US with good bandwith and pings. Now you can set up dns to go to US server, but this server will feed from offshore one...
If your US server will be deleted you will be able easily recover...

yea you probably want to try round robin DNS.. where you have a site being hosted at host A and that host has two A records; one that points to the local host and one A record pointing to another IP on host B. GOOGLE IT..

I spread the wealth among two hosts just in case on goes down. That way I can update the DNS to redirect the traffic to the online host. I don't believe you can load balance the traffic between two different hosts. LEt's say I haven't seen it yet.

You can set several AAAA records for DNS, each pointing to different server. When one provider shuts you down, your site will still be accesible on other servers.

That sounds interesting and like the thing I search... My favorite registrar is based in the bahamas, which means off-shore I think, and his private whois looks like domains arent connectable...
I thought maybe find out where some spammersites are hosted and create accounts with their hosters. I already found one but I have to find 1 or 2 more... I think I will start with 2 hosters...

I now have to check out how to fake referrer nowadays to have my cpa-accounts protected... then I think I can start spamming...

Looks like a good solution... Thanks so far... :)
