Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino from NBC's hit TV show Community, popular rapper/actor/comedian has a song in which he literally name-drops a domain that I own. The domain in question is www.wackpeoplemeet.com which is obviously a wordplay on www.blackpeoplemeet.com.

Proof can be seen on rapgenius.com @ http://rapgenius.com/Ludovin-tricks-lyrics#note-659407

As well as this Youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_vCHBqyEho

What should I do with this domain? Or how much is it worth? Possibilities include...

1)host clever or funny content that would get his attention
2)tweet it @ him on Twitter and get him to retweet it
3)pull original content and replace with content locker or CPA offer
    4)?????
    5)profit

He has 922,000 followers on Twitter as I type this. Feedback greatly appreciated :)

While you're figuring that out, why don't you redirect it to a blackpeoplemeet affiliate link?

    Giraffe porn.

Direct it to some CPA offer related to comedy, or set up a poll for "What's your favourite rapper" and make the yes or no buttons lead to some generic offer such free $1000 iTunes giftcard.

Why don't you sue him for non-approved use of your intellectual property and get paid? Consult an attorney and get a free consultation. Let him do the work, you get paid. It gets press, you get paid.

I thought this forum was about making money, not making friends.

This is a normal practice. This guy is making money off of somebody else's property while the property owner isn't getting a dime. The owner deserves to be compensated. Get your head out of your ass.

See if you can get in contact with him/his people and sell the site to them.

Better hurry up and upload a dating script loaded with affiliate links.

If you max this out right you might be able to get a new car. ;)

    Good Luck!

i have not done any SEO to this domain. it has just sat in my namecheap account for a year. and to clarify things, i registered this domain after hearing the song, not the other way around.

Prediction: You'll never sell it for anything.

He has no need for it. To him it's literally worthless. Why would he buy it? For what purpose?

Maybe you can sell it to one of his fans for $5.
