I have seen a few wordpress sites that have a pop up for visitors to sign up for a mailing list, and I think this would really benefit my site,

but I advertise with adwords and adcenter, and I have read they do not want sites that have pop ups, can you make it so it pops up when they go to a second page on the site?

I just want to know if there is a work around to get that to work, and not be against their TOS, I have even seen some sites that have it appear at the very bottom of the window, where it does not interfere with the rest of the site

Also I need email service reccomendations

Look for WpLapdance, this is an exit popup and works pretty good. Should be ok with Google coz the window won't pop up until they move the cursor to the menu bar at the top of the browser.

Its here on BHW for FREE, try and look for the name.

I would start with either Mailchimp or Getresponse if you are broke. Both offer 'free' starter packages.

Mailchimp however can be very strict and isnt as customizable as Getresponse however their free account is larger then others.

Getresponse is in my eyes a good second to Aweber, however Getresponse has the advantage of offering a free account till 100 subs.

I dont need a free service, I can pay for a good email service,

I just need a work around that would allow me to use some sort of a pop up and not be against Google TOS

If that is the case I would either go for Aweber or Getresponse as Ive used them both in the past and still use Aweber today for my PPC activities.
