Pondering an Idea

Need a little advice, I run a web design company and I have been slacking on redoing my biz page. What do you guys think would be the advantages of using word press as my site instead of an HTML site? I know it would be easier to administrate and has alot more flexibility but do you think a blog design would be professional enough to land clients? any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I would not recommend a blog design for a website. I mean come on, it's a WEB DESIGN company for crying out loud! That should be were you're showing customers how awesome your company is at web design, not that you know how to use premade blog programs.

haha yah very true but I wasent really talking about about a premade design, I was going to do a custom wordpress design. Just really starting this post as market research.

I don't see any reason why not. I've seen many blogs that look professional enough to pass. Who says the whole website has to be Wordpress? Why not a cool flash landing page back up by a blog?

good idea pred, I am really leaning twoards a wordpress design I am just wondering how I am going to setup a 30+ site portfolio with it
