So recently I've just got my first site to the first page of Google for a 'hard' keyword..

As I'm now checking this first page constantly to see where I am on it I notice a few things:

It changes ALLL the time.. it's literally ridiculous, sometimes I'm ahead of a site sometimes I'm below it, the top 3 spots keep cycling around and everything is just going a bit crazy.. Today I moved around 2 positions in the space of a few hours..

So my question to you is how active is the first page for some of your keywords? Is it normally this active or do you think perhaps I, 'fucked some shit up' so to speak with my link building..?

Side note: Keyword isn't searched A LOT (few k) but is fairly competitive..

Try not to spend too much time looking at it, I know its hard but it will stress you out / keep you too occupied where you can be doing actual work.

I know I have a tendency to not listen to my own advice
