The programs are still working, it is just the domain that have been seized at the moment. Although that may change soon.

Everyone panicking and attempting to withdraw will probably cause even more problems. If full tilt thinks their company may go under, I would not be surprised to see them shut their doors and keep any money they have in the system.

all of their bank accounts are frozen, so even if they process your cashout, you wont get your money.

pretty much any money you had in your account is gone now.

online poker has been illegal in the US for awhile. people that weren't cautious with where they put their money shouldn't be surprised.

    oooooooouch ^^

Good I'm not any pro-poker guy who is fishing the fishes to grab their money,
    rather an Internet marketer.

I really wonder, if famous poker players got an notice before & have withdrawn their money. They have/had for sure all together a couple of millions on their accounts.

From what i see poker stars and fulltilt`s sites and platforms are still up and running.... so this might be some kind of tactic to create mass panic.

LOL, no. The owners are being charged with money laundering and wire fraud.

    Because of a snitch.

U.S. Government Moves To Shut Down World's Biggest Online Poker Companies

Federal prosecutors today unsealed a sweeping indictment against Isai Scheinberg and Raymond Bitar, founders of the world's biggest online poker companies, and moved to try to shut down their businesses.

The indictment filed by Preet Bharara, the U.S. Attorney in Manhattan, charges Scheinberg, the founder of PokerStars, and Bitar, the founder of Full Tilt Poker, as well as nine other individuals, accusing them of operating illegal gambling businesses. Federal prosecutors also filed a civil lawsuit seeking $3 billion in civil money laundering penalties, alleging the online poker companies disguised money they received from U.S. poker players as payments to online merchants selling jewelry and golf balls.

This is so crazy! Wynn & Poker Stars partner, Caesars & 888 make a deal, Full Tilt partners with someone, Zynga hires the guys from PTR, then this happens? Interesting.

*fingers crossed for regulation in the near future*

If online poker is regulated I will become a full time poker player again (as long as it doesn't rape players).

As I'm writing this I'm getting phone calls and instant messages like crazy. People are FREAKING OUT, with good reason... if I still had tons of money online I would be too.

By the way, if this is anything like the week before Party went down... if you can play on one of these sites right now, do so... there will be tons of people gambling it up.

It's all over with. More than 75 bank accounts in 14 countries were frozen along with the domains. Within 48 hours the domains will resolve to the following IP:
    Code:
    50.17.223.71
It already does in some areas...just depends on propagation. Interpol is also searching for the founders/top leadership.

Even non-US players are screwed, because all the money is frozen and will be seized.
