Point Multiple Domain Names to One Website

Hi guys,

A bit of a noob question I guess. Recently I've been able to purchase some good domain names. Since i don't really feel like creating seperate websites for all of these domain names I was wondering if I can linkbuild on these domain names / urls and then forward them to my main site. So that my site ranks on the search terms which are in these domain names.

Does this work? And How do I do this?

Also, what happens to the juice if I decide to stop a website which i've linkbuild and just decide to forward the domain name?

Generally, there's not much benefit to doing this, especially if the domains are new as Streamline Metrics pointed out.

The risk however, is if the domains have a negative history associated with them. If bad links were pointed at the old domain, then those links will now point at your main site when you redirect them. If an algorithmic action like Penguin or an over-optimization filter was applied to the old site, your risk carrying that baggage to the new site.

So if i buy new domains, and linkbuild on these domains they won't provide any juice to the site they are directed to? So let's say I have a domainname "Great-webdesign.com" and I build a few 100 good links to this url and then link it to my own site, my own site won't rank higher on the search term great webdesign?

You will most likely get some increase in SERP, but I'm in the camp with most people on here. You'll get better results turning them into a PBN and linking to your money site.

I already have a few PBN. But clear enough so you guys suggest I will get better results by just using these domains to create new websites instead of just linking them.

You'll get a small increase. Nothing significant which should keep you building links to the redirected sites. If you're buying domains for SEO purposes, the best route to go is expired domains. Make sure to check the link profile.
