First, thanks for bothering to click the title! I'm going to ask a few questions, so if you don't like to help noobs you can exit!
Because adsense continues to be gay (I work more and earning doesn't rise fast enough), I decided to take a look at clickbank!
So, I picked water4gas as the niche (1st mistake), 2nd mistake was to build a content site! I thought I can attract more search engine traffic this way, adwords banned water4gas anyway. So I made 1 sale from 165 hops...this is not skill

So, I thought I should better try the other way and try to sell my own thing, I have an ebook to sell now. There are about 20 affiliates that promotes this, but I'm really worried now cause either the motherfuckers are gay and click their links for testing 1 or 2 times a day or my product is not converting. 70 something hops and no sale.
Ebook was written by a ghost writer, site has good graphics, not boring and long sales letter (but it is fairly good), the price is 15$. Why no one wants to buy? Oh, add that main target are womens....

Launched the site a couple of days ago, have the following stuff in mind:
    - get another ebook written and added
    - slap another 2 plr ebooks
    - raise the price to around 40$
    - set commission to 75%
    - spam every webmaster from the niche
    - contact the advertisers for other products

I have spent most of the budget on the making of the site, and I'm also a newb at adwords so, I would like to keep that option for next month.

I want to reach the top, I know that will happen but I would like you to help me do this faster.

    Q:
    - I have about 20 or so high quality articles on the subject? Should I make another site and try to push as another affiliate or ezine? Or should I use them as newsletters?
    - email lists/newsletters yes/no?
    - forums? This method is really annoying, what would the message be? cause I think "Yo! I'm new here! I'm looking to give up porn? lol and saw this guide on lalala, I don't know if it is good or not? There was also that video on youtube, but I don't find the link anymore :p! Can anyone tell me what I should do?" wouldn't work too well! Or should I talk like a retard l337 king/retard sex addict girl?

Writing another ebook is not going to fix your current situation. You want traffic, or better affiliates.

    Here's what you should try:

If you have 20 high quality articles submit them to Associated Content*. Not only you'll receive some money from it, you'll also be having a backlink from the article. Make a video related to your niche/ebook, or more, and upload it to youtube or other video sites. Submit your website to directories. Have some social networking work done.

    * Check Easiest Quickest 100 a day I know. This did not worked well for me though, it may work for you.

40$ for a 40 page ebook sounds like rip-off, might turn into a lot of refunds (if I'll ever have sales :)))

I want rankings, isn't ezine better? :-?? I also remember Associated Content had a problem with people outside US.

Thanks for your input! Know a working youtube bot by any chance? :)

Not unless it is really good content, but that's besides the point. I would suggest contacting webmasters of people who have done reviews of niche related products. Chances are your item hasn't been heard of yet. One of my better selling CB products took about 6 months to really take off and the first 3 months were really just minor hits and sales.

Also, don't neglect the affiliate section. This is extremely important actually. Myself, I don't even bother promoting a site unless there is a pre-written email for me to copy and paste, otherwise, i just move on to the next competetor who has it.

Some of the highest gravity sites also have amazing affiliate sections.

Also try and include some articles for them to post. And run your articles through a spinner so that the aff's can have some unique content to play with. Trust me - it works.

Finally - do you have an opt in form? You need to send out at least 1 email every day for 3 days reminding the customer of the product. Hardly anyone buys up front unless the product has already been reviewed on a niche related forum.

The product has a part about saving money, that's why I'm a bit reluctant to raise the price!

I will try to make some prewritten emails - searching for examples and shit now!

I read in another thread, that people are looking for the site not to have an opt-in form! I will try though! Can I send you a pm with my site url to let me know what you think about the sales page?

I'd suggest having someone take a look at your sales page as well.
What ever changes you make, be sure to split test or you'll never know what works. ;)

Raise your price. It's something called "perceived value". You can hype your product all you want in your sales page but coming out with a weak price is a sign of a weak product. You can always back down on the price through exit-pop-up windows , and newsletter offerings..

I had software I sold for 19$ a copy.. The sales were horrible.. I bumped it up to 39.95 and the sales quadrupled. Same traffic, same landing page, same software. I then offered a "2 year support and download " upgrade for an additional 10$... 60% of my customers chose that rather useless upgrade...... ;)

Well if the product is about saving money, then you have a perfect opportunity to start promoting CPA coupon ads via your newsletter. Not a huge revenue stream, but one nonetheless. If you like you can pm me your url and I'll take a look at it.

NOT to have an opt in form? That is totally unheard of in my books. These same people probably never heard that the money is in the list?

Anyways, get an email service and do something like this:

day 0 (subscriber just joins the list) - send out quick thanks, tell more about product
day 1 - tell more about product, put in testimonial
day 2 - tell more about product again, tell custy that the offer at special price will be gone in two days (really newsletters are all about BS)
day 4 - recommend some other product that produces a juicy commission

    and so on.

I do this all the time.. my list is generally 50 days long with about 28 emails that go out during that time. I only wrote emails to pump up really high priced products where the commission is $100. Also, if you do find a product that is good and well commissioned, pump out 1 email for 3 days recommending it. Based on my analytics, most expensive products won't convert until the 3rd email.

Anyways.. back to what i was doing...

Hey, I am a girl! Pm me your sales page/site. I am pretty good at "critiquing" and figuring things out - IMHO - I can PM you back any "female" advise.. should you want it.

Sure, a female opinion is exactly what I need since ladies are the audience for my product.
