So I got a VPS from FDV server dot net after my internet debacle (see thread below).

So I'm new to this whole VPS thing, and I login and all I see are my account details.

How the heck do I install Scrapebox on this thing?

Also did I have to buy a "control panel"?

Thanks in advance.

Oh wait, do I just access it by my remote desktop?

So pretty much every time I use Scrapebox on my VPS, I access it via my remote desktop and proceed to spam into oblivion :)

You should be able to use something like Windows Remote Desktop to log into your VPS. To start Windows Remote Desktop go to Start > Run and type in: mstsc.exe

You should have gotten an ip address and password for your VPS server. Use those for Windows Remote Desktop. Once you are logged into your VPS it's as simple as loading up the browser and going to your Scrapebox download and downloading it to the desktop of your VPS.

Thanks I just figured it out. I like logged into my VPS and was like WTF is this?!?! LOL. But then I figured the remote desktop thing.

Thanks again guys for the help.

Thanks,
I needed this information, too.

What about Ubuntu or CentOS in the VPS? Can I do the same thing? Or am I forced to use ssh command line?

So quick question, now that I have a VPS, after I log on from my remote desktop and run scrapebox, if I use private proxies, I shouldn't get F*$@ed from my Home Internet Provider?

I know that I may run into issues with my VPS server, but my home connection should be "safe" from getting shut down correct? (In theory I guess). Or am I still at risk.

You're completely safe.

You probably meant FDC? Which plan did you get? And how's it coming so far? :)
