Hi fellow BHW members... First of all, I want to thank each and everyone here for all the contributions that made my journey in money making through internet more clear.. I've never seen such a healthy good forum like this, and im glad i've found this before its too late lol.

I've been searching for ways to earn money from the net for almost years now, and yeah iv tried ptc, paid to signup etc, until i saw one thread about affiliate with dating sites... here's the problem or question, Im currently affiliated with friendfinder.com , about the " 20 uniques every free signup ", does this mean i need EXACTLY to have this ratio? i currently have 4 uniques per free signup, and i thought im in good stand as this mean their's one signup for evey unique ip who visit.. meaning "good quality" right? (correct me if im wrong pls...) ...

My payment got hold, and i send them a ticket, my affiliate manager told this, "Your account has not been paid because you are currently not meeting the ratio requirements" , I am really confuse, I just want to know if this affiliate is "fooling me" and consider this project fail again..and just move on and not waste time. I'm one step in making my first ever REAL money from the net and thanks to all you.. i am really sorry for asking noob questions..

Here's the thing...your affiliate manager is probably saying this because 1. your new and are putting up good numbers (1:4) and they probably think you aren't abiding by their rules....

Also you probably are not getting conversions, although it is a free sign up they will not pay you if no one pays them...think about it, are they just going to give you money and HOPE they earn money...no

also, I see you have one post...*just a tip* search around the forum before pleading desperately for our help...

Try writing more brief and concise chunks so people don't have to read blocks to find the relevant parts. I also naturally write long, flowery, boring paragraphs, but people don't like that on the internet.

    As for your question:

sounds fair to me, definitely fishy. If they say you should have at least 1/20 and you have 1/4 they should pay you. Then again I'm not an expert...

You may have to wait until the traffic starts converting for them to trust you, as mjd2nd said.

try ADL instead... they pay, but if your traffic does not convert for them, they dont keep your check... instead they just put you on revenue share meaning you get paid when they get paid.

    best of luck to you

AFF don't care about the ratio of your free sign-ups. What they care is the free-to-paid conversion ratio. Meaning if those free leads are not converting into paid members at the ratio mentioned on their site, they will move your account from pay per free sign-ups to pay-per-signups.

To be honest AFF sucks. Do a search on BHW.

step 1. Read the TOS you agreed to or have your attorney read it. I suggest the latter.

step 2. If you didn't sign your life away by checking the box below the TOS, have you attorney send them a friendly reminder via snail mail.

    step 3. Have fun.

thanks for the reply guys, i really appreciate it, gives me a more clear view on what to do... well i guess gonna lay low on this thing and move on to other methods.. i have $140+ on my account though.. =/ really sad if this one fails again... got everything done, good traffic i think, tax approved. i think it's about conversion, although they dont mention it directly, correct me if im wrong, they said clearly on my account, "20 uniques every free signup >> OR << 1 paid member for every 25 uniques". my goal here is to get a lot of free signup cause it is easy for starter right?and because of what they said, and i think i reach it. BUT I GUESS, i should convert this signups to paid membership before i get paid.. anyways it's http://www.friendfinder.com guys, it's not aff, iv browse AFF and i think it's almost identical. i just dont know if the two are directly related.. any more suggestions, ideas is really appreciated mates... thanks again to all of you.. ** failure is just another step towards success. =)
