So it seems since plimus got sold they have been going downhill rapidly.

First they stop taking recurring payments through paypal and wanted you to add your own paypal info and take the paypal payments directly into your account (which would lead to a limited account immediately and was one of the only reasons to use plimus and there high fees as they acted as a middle man for paypal payments).

Then they shut down an account of mine that has grossed well over a million dollars in sales in the last year because the chargeback ratio was 1.3%, no warning no working with us to get it down just boom gone.

Then I receive an email today for a separate account that I use for affiliate promotions saying that the payment is going to be held for a minimum of 30 days while they investigate the products I was promoting!!!

WTF, the products are on there platform to promote, if they are there then I can promote them! If plimus don't like them then they should have removed them and not let anyone promote them not said after the event that there is going to be an investigation.

They also hinted that the payments may never materialise depending on whether mastercard and visa decide to honour the sales.

Needless to say I will NOT be using plimus again for anything, what used to be run quite professionally now seems to be run by a bunch idiots.

Below is the email received by myself and a number of other affiliates 4 days before payment is due:

    Dear Affiliate ?

The credit card associations (including Visa and MasterCard) are increasing their scrutiny of merchants selling products within a number of online segments. Affected market segments include, but are not limited to, the following:

    Online auctions
    Foreign Exchange (FOREX)-related products
    Media
Poker chips and other virtual currency

As you currently are promoting products that fit within one or more of these segments, Plimus must now undertake a detailed and exhaustive review of your account to assess the stability of the products sold via your efforts.

During the period of this review, we must suspend payments for your account for a period not to exceed 30 days, pending our confirmation that all transactions will be honored by the card associations.

We recognize that this represents a significant business challenge, and apologize for the inconvenience. If you believe your account should not be considered to be focused on any of the stated market segments, or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact Vendor Support directly.

    Best Regards

    The Plimus Team

Yep good idea, should get ranked pretty quick I think.

This would NEVER happen on clickbank, even though there refund policy is terrible they never screw there affiliates.

I've been working in Plimus since 2008 and haven't encountered any problem with them.. but since plimus has been sold, i haven't look back with them for a couple of months.

I can't say they are scam because they paid me instantly without any issues, they did not suspend my 2 accounts with them even i got several spam complains from my affiliates..

So in my opinion, plimus is not scam but they have made a lot of changes.

I'm not saying they are an out and out scam but a company that decides to hold everyones affiliate payments 4 days before payday because of the products that they were promoting (on the plimus platform approved by them) is a complete joke.

If they didn't want the products there or they were against the TOS they should have removed them and not allowed people to promote them.

Looks to me like they pissing about with paypal. they lost a lot of affiliates, and now have a cash shortage. I.m pretty sure they will pay in the end.
But who the hell would want to work with such a shitty company.

I've never heard such a pathetic excuse for holding back payments. Surely they could have come up with something better to cover their cash shortage

Looks to me as if they are going downhill fast, and wont be long, till they actually do stop paying.

well, to me the only purpose of plimus was to be the paypal middleman. since that is gone there is no point in using them. they just signed their own death certificate.

i also got that email. plimus was awesome thought its a companies you can trust never had a problem except in the beginning the made a screw up on my payment. but this here is bs. its like entrapment. where does the money go if its not approved i have rent to pay. this will kill plimus. imagine clickbank pulling this stunt. Screw plimus. but there is no real alternative. plimus will die out soon. i will remove my product asap.

I have heard many such cases happening with plimus.
If we cannot use paypal then there is no other go to have an alternative apart from plimus.

Due to internal regulatory policy changes, the Plimus company has suspended payment processing for software related to Forex and binary options. If you are in need of consistent payment processing with excellent rates and comprehensive customer support, please visit us at AlgoCharge.

I am here to confirm that Plimus is SCAM. Today our company account freezed for 3 months as our charge back ration is more than tolerable!!!

A message to Plimus: remove the products that is causing this type of problem. We are having very busy days in past and ahead. It is not possible for us to rectify each and every product before start selling them. And i am 100% sure that you are going down in coming years...
