Please Review My Movie Site

Hi BHWers,

Hopefully I've posted in the right area. I've created a movie site. Can I get your opinions and advice about improving the site and building traffic?
Right now I only have 500 movies listed. I'm adding from google drive manualy any advive how to speed up the process or automate it?

Host is properly.. buy a VPS coz once you got bulk traffic, it will crash. Also, your favicon needs to change.

Google Drive is linked to your IP most probably, or sooner or later you will access it with your main IP.
DMCA goes to CloudFlare -> CloudFlare Reports to Host -> Host ignores it -> They send a second DMCA and info request to Google -> Google Gives your Real IP -> Your ISP gives details to the copyright owner = Fine/Jail time (or both)

Piracy niche seems like a honeycomb until people take a sting. You need to research about the privacy & security before venturing into movie streaming sites.

Isn't there some sort of API or automated process to upload movies? I find it hard to believe that the bigger piracy sites entered thousands of movies by hand.

I have helped with movies site for my users.
1. The cloudflare protection is not enough, You need to keep the site sever offshare. ( the continent u r not living in. its actually country but b extra safe ).
2. Gdrive = Not suitable for long run. after you pickup traffic ur gdrive files will stop working from time to time, they got 400views / day or similar to that i think. ( you should use a proxy server that fetches files form gdrive & plays with bandwidth ). you will c many sites doing that but they actually use proxy to fetch from gdrive most of the time to keep the file from copyright deletion & remove limitations.
3. Do not seek automation, Put ur head down n grind in order to add them & add some decent info sothat it would b a unique content, if u just fetch imdb infos from those theme scripts, all sites will b similar.
4. If u r just starting up, just copy the iframe content of the other famous sites, earn some money, get ur own streaming server offshore** dmca ignroe & start proxying gdrive files via it so your files will stayup always.

- If u develop your site & do 50k traffic / day in movies site its just .4 to .8 cpm depending on the country of users. thats just around 30$. thats what u r looking as the final income with developed site i think, i might b wrong, but u r seo will keep droping due to copyright issues in google & some countries will block domain too, you need to have fresh domains for indexing again with different tdl etc.

5. IN THE END OF THE DAY, YOU WILL EARN GOOD WITH A DECENT NORMAL NICHE SITE & GOOGLE ADSENSE THAN THESE MOVIES SITES.

- If u do a decent normal niche site with google ads u r looking @ up to 5$ cpm easy for usa & ausse audience & it is for life, you will not need to pay for some high cost server for video proxying etc. & most importantly you do not need to worry about google removing u from search for copyright.

Edit : As far as the contents of those sites, go, when they make site or where ever u buy theme, they get the sql db too. for a low cost for old shows & movies, its simple. you just need to update the latest movies from the sources daily. Eg: for 50$ u could get a decent database of movies & tvshows. ( im not selling ). Just use Google, its all there. most of it is just piracy & porn.

for traffic u can try SEO on your website and do maximum backlink in your website.

Just a few thoughts from a UI/UX perspective.

- Get a transparent logo that looks good on a dark background
- Get a template that uses the full width of the website
- Make the site more dynamic and let user be able to scroll sideways
- Add top lists (IMDB top 100, currently most watched, etc.)

optional: autoplay trailer if a user hovers over a movie

All in all: Your site looks like it is from 2010 or so. It is not state of the start. But don't get discouraged, you can improve your site quick.

Ok, I was hoping to find something fast and easy. But this makes sense.

This is something for me to think about. I've already started on this site, but for online work part 2 I'll research niche sites.

You can check out this theme.
Looks pretty much like Netflix but it's fully customizable and looks more modern.

Its a good site, it loads fast.

It took like 30 seconds to find the play button. I'd make that area more visible.

Thanks. I wasn't sure what to put up there. I was thinking "watch xxxx now" for better SEO but that might have looked to spammy. so I went with "Play Movie" which now almost seems hidden. I might have to look up how to replace that with a bigass button..

2 more hints before you get too far into it.
firstly, rename your theme folder in wp-content so people dont know what theme youre using, and also, abit of coding is needed(takes like 2 mins) to remove/change the redirection of 'forgot my password'

Do you have any guide/ web guide how to do this?? I know there's method to get unlimited gdrive, but these type of proxying gdrive?? I saw few people saying this but couldn't find a guide for this, that how to do this.

@SteveWhite Are you sure about this, because I have seen so many good journeys here with good decent earning with huge traffic.
