Okay, this is just an example, but say I'm running a site like WebMD and I need to run a bunch of medicine names... Would my silo structure be like this:

    MEDICINES (General category)
    |
    v
    Morphine (Targeted)

Because I've been reading a lot of things which say I need to do this:

    MEDICINES (General category)
    |
    v
    Morphine (Targeted)
    |
    v
    Morphine side effects
    Morphine treatment
    Morphine blah

The problem is, with the topic I'm working on, I can't write 500 + word articles on, say "morphine side effects" because the information is well defined without much room for elaboration or further information... But apparently I need supporting articles like that to rank "Morphine" (the targeted page)... Even though it's more convenient and makes more sense to put all of this information onto the one page.

How would you go about laying out a siloed site similar to WebMD where you wanted to rank drug names?

ALSO any heads up on a good silo theme? Hope Google don't end up slapping Silo themes as only SEO-conscious people seem to use them and they seem to hate people who understand ranking... Lol...

Thanks guys! My old site got slapped extremely, extremely hard so it's time to rise from the ashes stronger, and I hope to get started ASAP!
