I really don't understand what's the big deal with hosting not allowing gambling related content (we weren't even spamming or anything)!

Long story short I need recommendations for the most reliable shared hosting that meets these needs:

    - is OK with GAMBLING AFFILIATE sites
    - US based (need sites to be hosted on US ip)
    - Linux servers

Please suggest a decent host where I will be able to transfer my sites to with no headaches... we're not doing any spam / scam / fraud / etc.. just simple "site reviews" for gambling

Which host did you have before? Check with FatCow.com , HostGator.com and all the big names.

For most of this, you're just going to have to manually check with the hosting companies. Most of them have live chat so that could make it easier.

before you join any hoster, check their a.u.p. to make sure your content won't get pulled.
also ask someone via email or phone if they allow your content (gambling, porno, pharmacy, etc.) before you make a page that will get deleted.

many places don't allow adult content or gambling...

HostGator is great for adult. But I believe online gambling is illegal in the states so most ISPs won't allow it.

I feel your pain, bub: I was with the same host for 10 years then when I opened an adult novelty store they wigged out. Eventually they said there's no diff between selling best1al1ty videos and selling condoms and vibrators. Man, what an argument.

Yeah I chatted with them and like you said, as long as it's informational then it's all good, i guess they only filter out those who are actually trying to run some sort of gambling organization/scheme.

Thanks a lot to those who replies to this thread.
