Hi BHW Members

I am Anes

Which SEO strategies are working best currently?
What type of backlinks are giving better results?
Are guest posts and niche edits still effective?
Any advice before buying new websites/domains for SEO projects?

Would appreciate insights from experienced SEO members

hello Anes

White Hat SEO is definitely the right long term approach Right now topical authority quality content and relevant backlinks are working best Guest posts and niche edits still help if they’re on real traffic sites not spammy networks Before buying domains always check backlink history spam score and previous content using Archive org and Ahrefs

All these methods still work.
For my own sites, I use clustering, proper internal linking, and I also update already indexed articles based on Google Search Console data. I adjust them for the keywords they are already getting impressions for, but carefully, without changing the full context of the page and risking it dropping from the index.
For other projects, I also use guest posts, but only relevant ones where the topics really match. Even if the DR is low, I’d still prefer a site with real traffic and a clean, relevant audience over a high-DR site with no value.
Same with content: it has to be high-quality, unique, and based on your own ideas or experience.
Nothing new or fancy here, but in my experience this still works. Just not as a quick trick — more as a long-term strategy.

bro white hat success right now comes down to depth and trust rather than raw link volume focus heavily on deep topical mapping and internal linking to rank your pages guest posts and niche edits still work wonders but only if the host site gets real consistent organic traffic from google before buying an aged domain or a live site run a thorough audit on its link history and check for past algorithmic hits to ensure you are not acquiring a penalized asset

Right now topical authority and deep content clusters are winning more than anything else, focus on covering your niche thoroughly rather than chasing random keywords. For backlinks, contextual links from real sites with actual organic traffic are what move the needle, DR alone means nothing if the site has no visitors. Guest posts and niche edits both still work solid in 2026 but only when the host site has genuine Google traffic, avoid anything from link farms or PBNs. Before buying an aged domain always check Wayback Machine for shady history, run site:domain.com to confirm it's indexed, and look for any traffic drops around major algo updates in Ahrefs. Bottom line is quality over quantity every time, one good link from a relevant niche site beats ten cheap placements easily.
