    Hello,

i recently stumbled upon a study showing twitter can have a big impact on your ranking.

    The conclusion was:

"What our findings show, is that tweets appear to provide a rankings boost up to 50 tweets, but anything from 50 to 1,000 tweets, don't really affect the ranking any further.
From 1,000 tweets onwards however, a URL's ranking is significantly boosted, and URLs with over 7,500 tweets rank on the first page." (from brandeddotcom/tweets-vs-rankings)

    Problem:

I gave some of my youtube videos a litte tweet blast and the ranking really improved.
But if i use social media backlink checking tools like ahrefsdotcom or twitters own search function my tweeted urls DO NOT show up on the statisics.

    Question:
Do i have to blast from different accounts and ips or is one account/ip enough.

    Like to hear your opinions!

    Thank you ☻

Whatever link you "blast" there, expect to be blocked totally or to be marked with big notice screen for spammy content. That would happen for day or two.

That study is from 2012, a lot of things changed until now. Also, what they think with number of links is regular human interaction and showing of links in tweets, like retweets and mentions in other people's twitter timelines, not blasting same link from few accounts hoping that they will stick and give you boost. If you have system to replicate one big "conversation" to look natural, number of accounts to retweet from another number of accounts and make link appear natural, ok, but keep in mind that they are a bit smarter than regular spammers.

Go slower, smarter and and you might survive.

    hello,

    thank you for your post.

What do you mean by getting blocked?
If you spin and randomize your tweets and use hashtags they dont ban your accounts. Even if you use same url over and over.
Even if you tweet once a minute on average.

    Will work my way through.
Starting with simple url blasting from single account.

Will report back in this thread. ☻
