    Here's my current structure:

I own a perfectly whitehat site on a specific niche and have 100's of articles on it. I also sell an ebook. Despite my best efforts, only 2% of people that visit the site actually click through to the sales page.

What i was thinking of doing is buying a domain and creating a one page sales page for my ebook. Then i will get affiliates to point to this 1 page site (I don't want to have affiliates sending traffic to my legit whitehat site in case google doesn't like that). At least this way if the 1 page sales page gets banned by google, it's just 1 page and not a site i've spent years building.

Is this a good idea? I know google doesn't like 1 page websites that are just a sales page, but isn't it ok because it's not organic traffic i'm interested in for the sales page but oNLY affiliate traffic?

Not sure why you don't just create a one page sales page on your current site and have affiliates point to that. I don't think Google has a problem with affiliates sending traffic. Plus you shouldn't run your business around what Google likes or doesn't like anyway. Who cares what Google thinks? They aren't going to ban your site because you have a sales letter with affiliate traffic that would be ridiculous.

sign up on 4 CPA sites with your Ebook. Get 4 domains
Then all 4 have their own domain/site for the affiliates to point to.
Why limit it to just 1 go big!
    Sell it on ebay too

I disagree, I think that if he is going to bring blackhat traffic to a LP it should be on a different domain than his whitehat site. Just seems proper to keep them seperated, as Google DOES penalize for blackhat methods.

Doc - I think that's a great idea. Why sabotage your money making site and the one that you've spent the longest time building?

Build a throw away domain, get traffic however you want, and then if something happens. Rinse and repeat.

I always recommend diversifying income, and securely setting up a foundation in case something goes wrong. Don't put all your eggs in one basket, and only one site.

Sounds like a good plan, the only reason I would do another site is if the url you're going to get is more targeted to what it is that your ebook is about than what your current website is about.

As long as you're not doing anything black hat that effects Big G and its money they won't do anything to you. Also, with affiliates sending you traffic if Big G doesn't like you its OK, as long as you have plenty of affiliates sending you traffic.

There are other search engines, and you can make money off their organic traffic also, I know this to be a fact because some of my sites are on like the 100th page of Google and get no traffic, but still do a nice business with traffic from other search engines. Yahoo and Bing mostly...

Whats a CPA site? Do you mean like Clickbank? And 2Checkout and Amazon, those kinds of sites?
