what are the repercussions for using too much plagarized, but not posted online content on ac. They still approve the content I'm using, but I am getting writers to send me samples, and using their samples to post on ac.

wow so does ac just not give a shit what we do as long as its not posted on the internet?

It just has to be unique content, If it passes copyscape your fine.

I have been questioned before regarding my content resembling other like content by A*C even though it passed copyscape.

Not often, and I have never been banned, they just ask me to rewrite and resubmit.

Yeah your right. I think if you get it to about 85 percent unique i don't think they will say anything. But if its around 70 to 80 percent unique you may run into that problem.

I've used old magazine articles (pre-internet) almost word for word and never had a problem.

I've posted something similar in another thread but one little known fact is that anything published pre 1923 is open to the pubic or "public domain". I realize that this is going back a lot of years but with a little imagination and some tweaking there's a LOT of free content out there that you can use (plagiarize) without the fear of getting into any trouble.

gun-shy has the right idea here. There is a lot of free content that is public domain

Still public domain is against their TOS, they don't care if you own the rights even, you have to be the actual author, this is why articles written for you don't count either. They seem to not be concerned solely with copyright laws because even if you have full rights they don't want it unless you wrote it.

i would have to imagine that the writers you are stealing from will one day to enter some of their writing to AC and it will all hit the fan.

Shame on me! I'm really going to have to start following all rules and TOS's for the upcoming new year. I want to be a better person ;)

Are you saying on 400 words, you have to change 350 words to make it unique
