    Pippion - pigeon racing and breeding online management software, community and marketplace.


    Problem
    Pigeon racers are facing following problems: managing individual pigeon loft, tracking results and statistics, tracking and organizing information of each pigeon, selling and buying pigeons, connecting with pigeon racer and finding lost pigeons.


    Solution
    Pippion helps pigeon racers to sell and buy pigeons, tracking racing results, finding lost pigeons, organizing detailed information about each pigeon, connecting with other racer and tracking statistics.


    Target Market
    There are 2 000 000 pigeon racers worldwide. Potential users consist of anyone who likes pigeon breeding and racing and who is pigeon breeder and racer. Following countries are most populated with racers Belgium (70 000), Netherlands (60 000), Germany (50 000), UK (30 000), US (30 000), South America (20 000) and Asia (1 200 000)


    Competitors,
    Five main competitors: Pipa.be (auction and news portal), Pigeon Planer, Columba, CompuClub (offline softwares), PigeonDB(online app).
    Competitive Advantage
    The biggest strengths are that Pippion is the best and the most comprehensive online app currently on the market with the most detailed features.


    Marketing Strategy
    Planned advertising: online via Facebook, AdWords and Pipa.be because we are targeting online population. We are negotiating with Benzing (hardware company), The Pigeon Insider (online web portal) and Mike Tyson (famous pigeon fancier) to form partnership and expand our business.


    Mobile Strategy
    The service will be an app for Apple and Android. Currently, responsive version is available for all platforms, for Android as an app.


    Revenue Model
    Revenue streams include:
    1) Annual subscription (100$),
    2) Monthly subscription (10$),
    3) Taking 20% of each sold pigeon via auctions

    Pippion is part of Frank Accelerator in Croatia, we participated on selection days in Eleven Accelerator in Bulgaria, on Spark.me event in Montenegro. Currently we have 170 non paying customers


    What do we need?
    We need sales guy who can do marketing and promotion, attract paying customers in exchange for equity in company.

    Hi,

    Would you be prepared to change your business model and look at alternate revenue streams?

    For example one of your competitors that you mention http://www.pigeondb.com/pricing charges $9 per year. You charge $100 - that's a hard sell for something such as this as it is difficult to explain such a huge price difference for what appear to be similar products and as such make sales.
