I was combing through the followers on one of my accounts looking for the template of the "perfect follower". As I mentioned in another thread, I'm looking for ways to maximize my follow back ratio. I following to be more efficient. Currently every 10 followers I follow, 1 follows back. My goal is to increase that to a minimum of 3 followers for every 10 I follow. Anyhow, here are some of the findings that I found when I looked into what everyone who followed back had in common: Common Between Them: All of them are following roughly twice as many Pinterest users as those that follow them Were active at most 1 day ago Oldest post in "Activity" is 6 weeks Those that listed their location were in Midwestern States in the US 5/6 have less than 25 followers 5/6 do not have a description on their profile 5/6 have food-related boards 5/6 did not have default name boards 5/6 did not have boards with no pins 5/6 had scenery boards 5/7 listed their location 5/7 had inspirational quote boards 2/3 had crafts or DIY boards 2/3 had fashion boards Have an average of 13 boards Have a maximum of 24 boards Have a minimum of 5 boards Have an average of 290 pins Have a minimum of 130 pins Have a maximum of 588 pins Have an average of 88 likes Have a mean of about 10-15 pins per board Have a maximum of 113 pins in their largest board If anyone is an avid Pinterest Marketer, I'd love to get together and mince words with you. Right now, increasing my follow-back ratio is my number one priority. I haven't even begun to monetize this account yet, nor do I intend to until it builds up at least 1000 followers. Sadly, too many people are looking for ways to market on Pinterest and too few are looking for ways to get followers. I'm trying to change that. I welcome anyone's help. Take action BHW!
