Pinterest Verified Merchant Program

Hello, A little question for those who are Verified Merchant. I am currently working with amazon affiliate marketing. Pinterest doesn't approve my account because it's not through the site I refer sales to. If I change the working system and open the site through shopify, I do the same way as an amazon affiliate. Will it accept my account as an approved seller? has anyone tried this? In short, if I do it through shopify, will my pinterest account be an approved seller?
