    Hello BHW

I currently develop my second legit site to promote on Pinterest, i havent applied and integrated rich pins for my first Site.

Now i ask myself, will i get a higher pin/post reach if i enable rich pins for my site?

Would you recommend to post the recipe ingredients in the rich pins meta tags or leave them blank?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

    Regards

    Donnie

Rich pins make a 30% difference in traffic for me. I'm rolling out a new site, too. And I'm incorporating the rich pin codes on my posts even before I apply for the feature.

buzzfeed isa prime example of rich pins dominating. nordstorm and etsy too are great in searches. but I think adsy and nordstorm are probably paying for some/most of their appearances in search. Or are ads only for home page feeds?

but, if your recipe ingredients and directions are in the rich pin, then why would users click to go to your site?

I'm applied for article rich pins for my site and got accepted and told it would take a week for my pins to become rich pins. Now I wonder if using divs on my recipe pages if I could get rich pins for recipes. Anyone got any insights? Something like this: http://pastebin.com/2XUbZUhD Works on blackhatworld.com lol.

    [LIST]
[*]1 lb. russet potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
[*]1 medium onion, cut into small chunks
[*]6 garlic cloves, peeled & cut into third

    [LIST=1]
[*]Preheat the grill to medium heat.
[*]In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, onion, garlic and olive oil. Toss to coat the vegetables.
[*]Add in the rosemary, smoked paprika, salt and pepper, and toss to coat again.
[*]Using 2 pieces of foil (each 24 inches long), form an X by overlapping the foil.

Give it a try. It worked for me the other way. I was approved for recipe rich pins and when I used the article rich pin codes for a non-recipe post, it worked.

Considering that I ripped two examples of schema.org divs, I'm sure it would work on my site as well. Lol, even blackhatworld could be pinned for recipes now. Cook with a black hat on. Thank you.
