Does anybody know if pinterest has a cutoff where they stop showing pins if they point to your site? I have a relevant site that is not a bunch of spam and i have noticed that traffic has really dropped off lately and the amount of my pinning has stayed the same.

Was getting about 5,000 visitors a day from 3 pinterest accounts and now am only getting about 1500 a day. Decided to up it to 40 accounts and see what happens lol.

All pics that i pin have had their metadata scrubbed so pinterest sees them all as unique new pins

Pinterest is changing algorithm now a days, i have seen some my very old accounts also getting way less repins then they used to get
So best shot is to move on to new accounts

May also have to do with the domain as the source. gah... I know its a bad idea to have 1 money site, but i am trying to make it an authority site. Would rather not have to start another site.

Has got to be with the target domain name some how. I have went from 1 account up to 60 accounts over the past week... all pinning unique pics for the same domain.

I wonder if they are limiting the amount of pins that are visible per domain for the public during a search. This make sit more important to have multiple money sites if you are using pinterest as a large part of the market plan

OP, short answer is yes. Best thing to do is create new accounts and add them to your high traffic boards (also create new boards with them and add many people).

Yeah , OP create new accounts and try to move your fanbase from the old accounts to the new ones
