Pinterest writes in their blog post that they've been monitoring (and probably ghosting) a bunch of suspicious accounts, and are going to delete them starting today (12/6/2012).

Anybody: 1) getting hit 2) seeing their follower count drop?

I'm not hit, but I'm all white hat/legit over there. Have not seen follower count drop, either. But hard to tell if they've pulled trigger.

You never know. Depends on your method. But yeah. If it's spray + pray CPA/affiliate, then its time has probably passed.

Depends a lot from the methods you're using, as well as gazillion of other factors - it's not like they roll out all their banhammers at the exact same time.
